Description

Portal Gun from Rick Sanchez / Rick & Morty is finally done!

Most Parts were 3d printed, the plasma tube was printed by my awesome buddy #deadbeardprops on a Form 2 SLA printer, to get it as clear as possible so the plasma ball can be seen.

The ball itself is a simple little crystal made out of eva foam, epoxy and green spray paint. Mounted on a clear tube i got left from my GUNPLA display parts.

All other parts are adafruit & arduino parts.

Installed is a Trinket Pro 5V 16MHz, so if needed i can edit the code anytime, but the provided one works best.

I recommend checking out the remixed versions of this for better printing!

The lights on this thing look at dark places or at night the best.

I also made a little modification where i put a switch on the front between the led bulbs.

3d printed parts were sanded and coated with XTC3D, primed and painted with basic white spray paint and sealed.
